Approach
Assessment
Your Exercise Physiologist will take you through a range of comprehensive assessment protocols
On your initial visit, your Exercise Physiologist will help you understand your current state of health, the lifestyle behaviours and risk factors which may be affecting you and the goals you wish to achieve.
Prescription
Your Exercise Physiologist will then formulate an action plan specific to your needs
This includes an exercise program based on evidence based practice, and a schedule for you to follow. We use an exercise prescription software called Physitrack (and the associated PhysiApp from your phone/tablet/computer) for ease of understanding and monitoring of adherence and pain levels.
Supervision
You will be shown how to exercise correctly under supervision
Follow the exercise program with your goals and outcomes in mind. Follow-up appointments can be made on a regular to semi-regular basis for accountability, adherence and to ensure things remain on track.
Re-Assessment
With time, things will change
Which will warrant an update to your program. Your Exercise Physiologist will reassess your progress against baseline measures and set new goals as required to ensure progression.
